Triumph Stag Stromberg Carburettors

Hi all,

been searching for ages for a pair of Stromberg twin Carburettors for a Mk2 Triumph Stag for my mate. he was quoted over 400euro from site online.

is there anywhere else i can get them?

any help would be appreciated.

Thats a bit steep but is the price one UK supplier charges if he hasn't got a pair to exchange. He could save about €80 with another possibly more reputable supplier.
If he has a pair would you/he consider rebuilding. Kit would be of the order of €80.
For best second hand option phone Martin Dimick on 00441260 224743 or 00447766 240959. His main trade is through an e-bay shop, so you will find him if you log on to e-bay UK and search for Just Triumph.

Tony Hart, probably the most respected man in the world of Stags, is selling a pair on e-bay at present. The buy it now price is the best I have seen.

he doesnt have any to get reconditioned, as they were stolen when it was in storage. hence why needing the replacement.

Set of Stag Strombergs for £10 needing overhaul
Stag Strombergs

Might be handy to exchange against a recon set or overhaul himself with repair kits, I've got a Stromberg overhaul manual if its any use
