Listened to it yes, Bernie watchamecallher and a Limerick East TD. Nothing new said except that the TD fella had a very well stocked arsenal of replies and knew exactly how he was going to counter ICABS. I'm not really into coursing myself but I wouldn't be fully against either but fair play to the TD fella for fighting his corner in a very effective manner.

    +1

the icabs started her rant again making comparisons to coursing and roman gladiatoral times. same crap out of their mouths the whole time so it is. as i always said they have too little to be doing. the coursing is very well regulated and the clubs adhere happilly to all those rules.

Yeah the guy (was it Niall Collins??) did a very good job, well prepared and showed her to be an emotive wind bag with no substance.

The Td was also very quick to point out that the female member of parliment who banned coursing in england was a member of the animal liberation front. How was the feedback from texts? i turned it off after the interview.

at last we're getting ploitical and getting politicians behind us. good to have a td speaking for us instead of just a spokesperson.

I've never been coursing so I'm neither for or against, but from the start ICABS lady was dramatic to say the least. The pro side was as cool as ice and came off very well.

I think we've always had a fair few politicians behind us. A lot of TD's come from rural backgrounds and are country lads at heart. It's not only Ranelagh and Rathmines that elects TD's you know.
