Golf day in Killarney.

This thread should interest boardies who play golf as well as poker. I've done a deal with Killarney golf club for 2 hours tee-time on the day after the Ladbrokes Poker Festival finishes, that is Monday October 6th. The deal I got is €50 per player, and that pretty good for Killarney Golf Club.

We will be playing on O'Mahoneys' point championship golf course, with tee-times from 12noon-2.00pm. 2 hours tee time will allow me to cater for a maximum of 40 golfers. I'm also advertising this in my own club today as well as here on boards to give my own club members and boardies the first option to take up places.

If you'd like to join us for a game, please post it here or pm me. 1st come 1st served as I'm pretty sure we'll get plenty names to fill the time-sheet.

Howrya Connie I'd be interested in this aswell and Mike Randles might be also, I'll let you know as soon as possible.
Btw I assume that we'll be playing some kinda competition, may I suggest a sweep where everyone throws in an extra 10/20 euro and winner takes all.

This event will be co-ordinated by Laura from the Glen Eagle/Destination Killarney group, as I dont think I'd have the time to devote to it with the scale of the poker tournament we're running. If ye could pm me ye're full name and telephone number rather that ye're boards usernames, I'll pass them on to her, so that she can liase with ye as regards tee-times, etc etc. When the sheet is full, I'll post all the tee times here.
