Any great hotel deals in South/South East?

    Hi,
    My wife and I have a chance for a 2 or 3 day break, dropping baby to Clonmel so want somewhere within 2 hours driving distance.

    We'd like a nice, plush hotel where we can just relax around the hotel, use the pool, spa, go for dinner (in town) etc.

    I was looking at places like Cork, Kilekenny, Waterford, Kerry etc and such hotels as the Lyrath, Radisson, Hayfield Manor (cork City) etc.

    Obviously these are all expensive (€180 + for B&B) as they're luxury.
    QUESTION- Is there any real outstanding deals/offers etc. and and particular hotels that anyone can tell me of?
