This might be a long shot but I had to some work on a file and send it off to someone as a .prn file. I was shown last week for all of 10 seconds how to view it but I cannot remember now and they person who showed me is not around. Anyone know how to view these files within DOS itself. I do not want to have to download any prn viewers as it is not that necessary.

    Thanks

Never tried viewing a pm file myself, but have you tried "type file.pm" in a DOS window?

If it works and flashes by try "type file.pm|more" to pause the screen on each page. If you can read it, and you want to change the contents, use EDIT rather than type. Then File, Save, Exit to quit the editor.

why you didnt use a .csv file i dont know. But use
    copy /b file.prn prn

the /b is because the file is in binary

    *edit*

    Or is it
    copy file.prn prn /b

Naaahhhh to easy, this is much better! :)

Creating a PDF would be a good option. Process a little long winded. Go from point 3 on.
