New Years Full moon Party

    Hi,

I'm planning on going to the Full Moon on New Years Eve, and am trying to book it as soon as we can, as when my girlfriend went to a normal full moon party most places were booked out, and she had to stay in Sanctuary beach. I know if we book ahead we'll probably be ripped off a bit, but has anyone done this and can recommend somewhere that's reasonable enough, and close enough?

Yeah hoping to make the Full Moon party myself this New Years but accommodation also is worrying me. I have friend living on Koh Samui so I'm hoping she might be able to make some enquiries for us otherwise we'll just have to take whatevers available when we get there? What date were thinking of arriving?

It depends on how many days we have to book, ideally only spend a night before a night after it there. But if we have to stay longer to get a place booked, then it'll have to do.
Some places already claim to be booked out and others are looking for 5 days minimum and a huge amount for rooms. I think we may have to just risk getting there a couple of days before and getting something.

We stayed in this place for the full money about 2 yrs ago, was in the summer tho. Its a nice hotel (standard stuff but pretty decent) not particularly cheap, but close enough to the full moon beach, we used to get a taxi/bus there, and you can walk home if one wants.

Full moon should be class for new yrs!

If you're looking to book somewhere for the New Years Full Moon Party you'll have to book for about 5-7 days I'd imagine.

I also wouldn't risk the 'take whatever we can get when we arrive there' approach.
