I'm looking for other people's experiences of this condition. How did it effect you specifically? What did you do about it? Treatments? Outcome?

Not looking for medical advice, just to see how others have coped with it.

    Thanks.

Never known that before, as i've always associated the said cause of em to be the solution.

Knew someone that suffered from it, their doctor told them to not have sex or masturbate for a month, after that he tried it out and it was gone. He was 21 at the time. It effected him and his girlfriends relationship but not for the worse, they grew emotionally :)

my god. i slept with a guy who suffered from this a bit.

it was a nightmare. he had crippling headaches that took the guts of an hour to subside before he was able to communicate in anything other than moans.

it was incredibly frustrating and such a turn off! nobody likes to think they might end up causing pain through something which should be enjoyable. i always felt sooo guilty afterwards.

he went to the doc about it. loads of tests, CAT scan, even a spinal tap! nothing wrong with his brain, so he was just told to lay off sex and overexertion for a while.

he had about two months of excruciating headaches before they stopped happening. he said he had it before when he was younger but the pain was much less.

unfortunately there's no real advice to offer except give it up for a while and see what happens.
