With the recent air rage incidents and now the young un's running rampant in Crete creating lots of Juicy tabloid headlines while bringing shame on the nation, the question beckons, are we now going to be like the English were in the 90's? Is this what our Celtic Tiger has given us? Bad little cubs with no respect?

Well since our football teams rarely get to visit anywhere fancy in Europe, I don't think we'll really get the chance to cause any major hassle.

Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all in Europe this year. Don't know what you're talking about, bub.

saying "im irish" has saved my ass more than on just one occasion.

just recently here in hamburg on a night out, myself and a friend approached this big group of lads asking where a good spot was, (they turn out to be polish), they all look at us brutally "ARE YOU ENGLISH?", we say "no, god no, were irish",big smiles all of a sudden all round, 2/3 of them go back to their own conversation, the rest are listing off decent places for us to go. I thought we were the blacks of Europe. Now the English of Europe? What's next? The Polish of Europe? Who's going to be the Irish of Europe?

Does this mean we'll have to beef up our armed forces and blindly follow Bush into whatever shambles he has planned next? On the plus side, we'll get a better health service out of it.
