anyone else having problems accessing the website? i need to register my modules but it just keeps telling me that the server is taking too long to respond. It's a right pain in the arse, i'm in poland and i've gone to 2 separate internet cafes to try and get it to work, but no joy.

no, doesnt work either, i even tried entering the ip address of ucd and not the name, still not working. i have no idea why ucd 's server wont respond to a polish ip address, but i asked my friend in australia to try it and it works fine for him.

is there a way to redirect your ip address to show up as though you're accessing fropm a different country? i know people do it too watch video streams from different countries and things. It's amazing how UCD is constantly evolving and creating new and more complicated problems to annoy it's students :mad::mad:

I have no reason to believe that UCD are restricting access by IP address. Why would they? They have plenty of international students who would want to register from abroad.

Going directly to https://sisweb.ucd.ie/ should work. It might be busy, but looks fine from here at the moment. It's a secure site (https), does the Polish government have a problem with that?

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

What a brilliant idea to pay your fees through a public proxy...

Wait, ucd.ie was working for a while? :pac:

It seems to break a little too often for comfort, if you ask me.
