I like that I am supervised very little, which means I can surf the Internet for most of the day. All the while being paid a lot (€11 per hour, well a lot for a student job). Also, free tea.

Like the OP I'm not supervised and am pretty much free to do my job unhindered. I have alot of responsibility with my job and they trust my judgement (fools). There's also all the free cooler water, tea and coffee I can drink! I also get hefty discounts on the electronics we sell.

I'll have you know I own a small zoo and a pirate ship... but not at the same time as I don't have enough lego bricks.

Management actually do some work, infact they do more than is expected of them and not just the bare minimum and **** off home. *gasp* They actually listen to you if there is a problem as well.

Get to sit down all day and am not exposed to the elements in my comfy office.

Can listen to my iPod while I 'work' (surf the net, copy and paste).

5 minutes walk from the train station in the middle of the city and the station at the other end is 5 minutes from my apartment.

Finish at 4 so can be at the beach by 5.

"I feel that I have made excellant progress since the last line meeting. I find the role challenging, varied and a good learning experience."

Smile, naturally if possible. Do this by wrinkling the skin under the eyes. Look your fetid manager in his eyes as you say this earnestly. Wave one hand around expressively.

"Moving forward, could I ask you as my manager, OP, to consider moving me onto more intensive projects. I feel that I am ready to take on bigger things.

Maybe we can blue sky for our next line meeting on what would be a more challenging role for me?"

Return to your cubicle and avoid mangager like a vampire avoids sunlight till next appraisel.

They keep doing that with me too, the stuff I've been trained on fair enough, but there's other stuff that's so basic IMO yet no-one else seems to have a clue about... it's just baffling. Then there's other stuff where I'd know a bit and they all just seem content that as long as one of us has some idea how it works that'll do. Oh well, they be f*cked when I leave.:D

I get paid to drink tea, surf the net, read books, eat chocolate and occasionally answer phones.
