Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why don't they...

Put those big screens with flights in airports *in corners* so the crowds checking their flights don't obstruct the centre of the floor - and put some seats facing them so people can sit and watch for their flight to be assigned a gate.

Put one-way systems in supermarkets - and put the parking spaces at a slant - so it's easier to drive in and back out, and you have a clear field of view.

Anyone else got any to add?

OK, since no one's taken the bait yet, why don't they

    * have a degree in fiction writing
    * produce a €5 coin - hate those scummy little fivers
    * train people in *both* plumbing *and* electrics so you don't have to involve two guys in getting an electric shower or setting up a central heating system

I think you'll find with a little study that there's an apostrophe in "you're", unless it's a possessive pronoun.

No, lifehacking isn't only personal, there's also a macro angle, where a country can lifehack.

And to return... why don't they run the Leaving as monthly exams, spread over two years, instead of cramming them into a few days?

Because then the idiots who actually do panic about exams will be panicking 20 times over two years rather than once.

Customers are less likely to do a more comprehensive shop if one-way systems were in operation, i.e. less spending

Takes up more space than the conventional system

You shouldn't be driving straight into a parking space in the first place!

Reverse in then you can see all the traffic on the road as you reverse and have a full view to pull out.

You can't easliy reverse into parking spaces that are on the slant unless the slant is the wrong way around.

However if space is very limited ie not enough room to park at right angles to the pavement then you can get more cars in parking at a slant than you would with normal curb side adandonment parking.
