Just to let you know that the DUCAC and Societies websites are rarely updated, so they do not actually contain all the clubs in Trinity College. For example, The cycling and american football clubs are not on the DUCAC website, and I'm sure there are some societies missing too. So don't be surprised to see even more clubs at freshers week! :D

Ooooh, there's a cycling club now?

It takes a second to update a website, shirley, I assume you've annoyed DUCAC about it? It's a pretty poor show since I can only assume that many an interested future Trinity student is looking at the website now...

DUCAC havent updated that website in at least 2 years. I'm pretty sure 2 or 3 of those clubs dont even exist anymore. The Cycling club has been around for about 3 years, they got offical DU recognition last year, so they really should be up there! And I know there are at least 2 clubs awaiting offical recognition, so I suppose it kinda makes sense that they aren't on the DUCAC website, but still! How are they meant to advertise themselves?

    Deadly, cycling.

And yeah I'll admit, part of my "college browsing" involved checking out what societies and things they had. NCAD fell down big time in that department.

It is the responsibility of the clubs to update their own sites, many sites are frequently updates. Some aren't. Its the clubs responsibility to get their website listed there.

The DUCAC website was updated on 08 June 08. Get your fact rights.
