Red wine stains on wall!

Just wondering if anyone has any advice for getting red wine off a wall (it's green in colour). Some was spilt last night and now there's dark drops all over the wall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sugar soap and hot water should shift it without damaging the paint; you'll get it in any hardware store. If the finish is matt, then the wine may have seeped through the paint and stained the plaster underneath menaing it could be harder to get off.

We had to repaint. Wall was matt magnolia and it took 3 coats. sorry no good news
