is Irish DTT available in Maynooth?

    Can we receive RTE's DTT testing signals in Maynooth?

    if anybody receiving, can you please suggest some internal/external antenna being used to receive these????

    External aerial basically required particularly to the south of the town; but its receivable.

    Yes you can recieve DTT in Maynooth, using just a digital antenna and u you will need a decoder as well

    digital antenna?
    what do you been by a digital antenna?
    is this those big antennas on the roof ?
    or
    the indoor argos antennas?

    please suggest one working antenna?

    Don't mind that post, there's no such thing as a digital aerial. There's 2 types: good and bad:)

    What's good for analogue is good for digital and vice versa.

    A grid aerial placed outdoors should do the trick, but how strong is your analogue signal right now? Details of this will be useful.

    i have an internal antenna only :-(
    only 2 rte1,2 channels with ok reception on analogue

    rental house, so cant buy a antenna for the roof

    looking for a good internal antenna

    no luck so far.....

    Can you get in to the loft space? I've an 'external' antenna in my attic doing fine for DTT.

    See sticky on aerials.

    As Myob says best is an external aerial in the attic if you have to have internal.
