Some of you may have heard about Nickelodeon's animated epic Avatar: The Last Airbender, which sadly concluded a few weeks ago. And those of you may have heard that this is to be turned into a live action movie, currently being directed by M. Night Shyamalan. In a recent interview the director announced that there was going to be a trilogy of films and that (thankfully) more than likely, unknown kids/teenagers will star in each.

So here's my question; how will this fantastic tv animated tv show translate to a live-action big-screen movie?

Thankfully enough the co-creators are being involved in the movie so they should hopefully keep it on track. Though knowing his previous films, it will probably end up that the aliens had sided with the plants and ghosts.

The interview with the director by the two co-creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
