    Hi there,

Very quick question I am one of those people that only goes to championship games been to every dubs game this summer and as usual love it. However I am now getting to the stage where I would like to take my love for the dubs further and go to league games. I was wondering how do I go about getting a season ticket for the league games.

    Thanks

I think there was seaon tickets last year for league games, it worked out a few quid cheaper than paying on the gate each match
Either way you will have no problem getting into any of the league matches, they are normally poor attendances compared to the championship.Conact your local county board and they will point you in the right direction.

There is a Parnell pass that gets you into all league games and gives you preference for championship games. I am not sure of the cost, blackbelt would know more about it.

I got the Parnell Park Pass terrace. It cost 135 euro,I think the PPP Stand cost 175.This entitles the bearer to free entry into Parnell Park for Dublin league football and hurling matches,Dublin senior club championship in Parnell Park and O Toole Park and also a reserved ticket for every game in the championship. It is a very good system which is like an insurance policy for fans and a great investment into the county board funds for facilities etc.

im not trying to be smart here, but why not support your local team too (if your not already that is)
true the standard mightnt be as high, but theres nothing like standing beside your neighbour having a vocal sparring match with your nearest rivals to get the blood pumping!!

You won't be able to get it until next April/May as the PPP is issued every year.First preference goes to current holders and then there is usually a waiting list. You have to get in touch with Parnell Park next year.

Its great value for money. As non-Dub (thankfully ;) ) I probably spent €70+ going to club semis/finals & couple of league games so if you actaully go to all games sticking your name down on waiting list is a no-brainer....

You would be most welcome. there is no club in Kildare that doesn't need another Member/supporter. I'm In Newbridge and Have found Sarsfields a welcoming place. or you could come back inside the border and support Lucan, round towers or (god forbid) Thomas Davis

Vinny Murphy moved down from DUblin to play for my team in Tralee and there's people here who would still like his balls.

The man's a legend. Best blow in we ever had.

That Parnell Pass is a great idea. Pity all counties don't do similar.

I still play my football in the Parish I grew up in in Dublin But I have been down to the club to watch games several times. The Rivalary between them and Moorefield is excellent. I took my 4year old daughter there a couple of times for the Saturday morning kids session too. great fun. I was thinking about transfering up but you know how hard it is to leave the old parish club.. Still new supporter/members would be most welcome there Im 100% sure of that ... great set up too.

The vast majority don't need to as clubs allocations and general sales meet demand for most part.
