Hi can anyone please give a definate on the speed limit as you exit the Toughers Business park in Newbridge (from NCT centre) heading up through the round-about into Newbridge?? Hubby and I are disputing is it 60 or 80km? I am talking about the stretch of road immediately after you go through the round-about (after the two 10mp/h humps) towards Newbridge? TIA

thanks I really appreciate that how was your test? mine is coming up in two weeks and am feeling a bit nervous though have been studying the rules hard and practicing every opportunity I get would you have any tips or suggestions??? Did they take you into NAAS or NEWBRIDGE?? I have had a load of lessons with a local motoring school a very good one next to the other test centre. How long did your test take all up? mine is at 815am.

    What do the signs say?

hello thank you for your post but there actually is NO SIGN on that stretch of road at the part I am talking about...if there was a speed sign then your post would have been quite humourous!!! Thanks.

What do the nearest relevant signs say?

There is a sign indicating the speed limit is 80kph just after the 'Bundle of Sticks' roundabout coming from the Naas side, and there is a similar sign as you leave Newbridge, a few hundred metres after the new Wyeth entrance. Therefore the speed limit is 80kph between these signs. I don't see how you miss these signs?

    hi aingeal

The test was fine- well I passed it anyway!!
i knew I could be brought into either Naas r Newbridge and even though I knew Naas better, Newbridge seems to be easier! It was 11 O clock on a monday morning and traffic was quiet so I was blessed really. As I came into Newbridge I was taken left all around the back of the shopping centre. and into a few estates and back up through the main street. The driving tester was fine and from other people who have done there test there they have said that all the testers are nice.

I take that road every day and I can confirm that the speed limit is 80 km/h.
