I played badminton a few times when in school, but that was years ago. I dont know much about the game but i liked hitting the ball thing anyway. I'd like to play it again as a beginner but i dont know where to go for it. Are there any places in galway?

You can play at Galway Lawn Tennis Club (G.L.T.C).It's on Threadneedle Road in Salthill beside Salerno Secondary School.
You will probably have to pay green fees.I'm not sure how much they are though!

Yeah as the previous poster said you can join the GLTC. There are Badminton club nights every Monday for everyone regardless of standard:). You can find better detail about it here. I personally have no idea about member fees so it's best to just call them

There's also a club in Oranmore, if you PM me I can pass on contact details of people involved. NUIG might accept non-student members too, I know UL do in Limerick.

Contact the Galway Lawn Tennis Club to ask about joining. They have excellent Badminton facilities

Just wondering does anyone have any contact numbers for a badminton club in North Galway. I think they play in Corofin and Belclare but can't find contact details anywhere on the Galway Badminton site.
