There will be a Festival of American Football at Jennings Park,Newry on the 5th October, starting at 12 noon.

There will be exhibition games of Flag Football, Kitted 8's and an inter-Divisional game between the Dublin and Northern Divisions.

There will also be a try out area for budding players and coaches.

Once you get them on, you will not think they are rediculous.....comfy too.

But feel free to wear whatever you like. We don't judge anyone.

American Football has been growing steadily in Ireland over the past 4/5 years.
There were 3 new teams last year and it looks like there will at least 4 this year. We are hoping to spark a bit of interest in Newry this year also.

There are a lot of skills required for football and you should be able to try out a few on the day.
