Using 20MB NTL package - download speed of large test file on wireless ranges between 600kbps - 1mb while on ethernet, 2.2mbps is possible. The router is the standard netgear 614 wireless supplied free by NTL. Is it possible to achieve similar results on wireless to those on ethernet connection?

Just to clarify, I presume you mean you're on a 20Mb package and have got download speed in kBps and MBps respectively? as in bytes instead of bits? It should be easily possible to acheive 2MBps over wireless. What sort of wireless hardware is in your pc?

Cheers for the reply Sean ( and yes, you are correct with your presumption :)).
