Accommodation in Belfast, close to rail links?

I'm considering going to Belfast within the next 6 weeks and would really appreciate advice on accommodation, ideally somewhere central and close to public transport. Price matters of course, but not as much as convenience.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

    Thanks

Depend swhich rail link you want to be near.... Central Staion (which is not as central to the city as its name suggests) or Great Victoria Street station which is much more central. For the first the only real option is the Hilton.... for the second, the Europa is the most convenient but pricey.

    Thanks Cozski.

I hoping to travel from Dublin Connoly and really just want somewhere near my arrival point to minimise inconvenience. I'd never been to Northern Ireland and feel an urge to finally do so.

No problem. I lived in Belfats for 15 years and still own a house there. I know the place like the back of my hand... probably better than most 'natives' as I was never 'restricted' by where I could and could'nt go. If you want any pointers, particularly 'troubles' and 'social' (pubs) related just say so. It's a very different place from when I first arrived and a must-see city in any Travellers book. You'll enjoy it.
