    Hi!

I'm starting college in Cork in September and just wondering how easy it is to get a part time job during the week in the college term. Only a few nights a week in a bar/restaurant/club or anywhere that will take me. Evenings and nights, obviously.

I have plenty of experience in bars and restaurants so that's not a problem.
I know it could be tough in first year but it would make money matters a lot easier. I would only want a job for weekdays as I will be going back to Killarney (where I also have a part time job) during the weekend.

Just want to know if any of ye have done this or know if it's common for places to hire students for a few nights during the week.

    Thanks!

There is a restaurant on Washington Street called 'Westview', I think. Anyway my friend used to work weekdays only in there.

The students union will have a list of places looking for students to work, you should find a job fairly easily
