Just got an email from Thomann asking me to sign a no claims form saying I won't claim against Thomann for the missing parcel. They need this to lodge a claim against DHL apparently. Is this normal or will they just tell me to f**k off once I've signed?

    DO NOT SIGN.

Its a fairly coy trick what they asked you to do - just trying to get you to sign all your rights away.

If you signed - more likely than not you the next communication from them would be how the issue is out of their hands and how you must contact DHL or some other b*lls^it.

At this stage...email really becomes ineffective. Telephone them. Explain the situation clearly and state your expectations of what you would like them to do about the situation. Be firm (and of course be reasonable).

I am having a similar problem with Pixmania at the moment...apparently the item was lost but they are slow to re-send the item so now I have requested a refund and they said they can't guarantee how long it will take before that is issued.

I have used Thomann.de before and found them to be quite good, yes, ring them and talk to them...email is too passive and too easily ignored.
