How well do you get along with your inlaws?

I am happy that I never see mine, Its not that they are not nice people they are but we just have nothing in common and the sitting around a table in almost silence kills me.

    What about you?

Can't not get along with people I haven't met yet, so very well indeed.

I normally get along with parents quite well -

Mine are Japanese and I only met them the once. They have zero English, I know 'karate','ninja' and 'sumo'. Actually, I did manage to say 'I like fishing', but that was about it as far as the conversation went.
There was lots of bowing and grinning, mum kept coming out the kitchen with tasty snacks while dad plied me with beer so they are fine by me.

Mine are good people - like their daughter I guess. I make a point of working at the relationship tho' - I think it's important.

Yeah you do have to work at it. There are somethings I really don't like about my brothers in law but I respect them, well one of them anyway.

My wife has a real problem with one of my brothers and that makes family situations hard. Therefore I don't want to put her in the same situation....... I should go to personal issues forum shouldn't I.:(

    Nah **** it I'll survive.:D

I hate when relatives come to your house and ask you stupid questions like what you're doing in college. Leave me alone!

Fine. Considering I ate them three years ago. With a nice Ciante and some fave beans.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Get along great with mine. It helps to ask questions and seem interested. It keeps the conversation flowing.

Like them a lot, but it wouldn't really bother me if we didn't get on. Don't see them that often.
