Glenalbyn refurb - what's happening?

    Turned up last night to find Glenalbyn closed for refurbishments until the 23rd of the month - had to toddle on down to Monkstown. Didn't see any info there on Monday night.
    It is in need of an overhaul but I don't know how much they can acheive in 10 days; anyone know what the plans are?

    They seem to close down for a week or two every summer with very little notice and usually when it opens up the only noticeable difference is a lick of yellow paint in the changing rooms. I'm sure though there are somethings behind the scenes as well that need repairing.

    Thought as much. Saw in one of those DLR-times things that Glenalbyn and Monkstown were to get a major investment and a new pool planned for Loughlinstown; I won't hold my breath I suppose.
