Does anyone know the name of the tall black birds seen along the dart line between Bray and Greystones?

I haven't seen them, but based on your description and the location near the sea, could they be cormorants?

they are cormorants - loads of them living around Bray ahead - you often see them flying just above the surface of the sea in Greystones too.

Thanks very much. Just come from a country with far more interesting bird life than here so I thought they looked kind of unique!

Did you see all the birds this country has to offer?
Not much of a bird watcher my self but have seen some interesting birds around.
