Using a FTA receiver..

    A quick question here,

    just wondering if i could use an old Comag sl 35 FTA reciever to get channels from upc b/c i was thinking on upgrading to chorus digital and to save money from buying their equipment could i use the above reciever?

    in theory i mean?

    A Satellite receiver will not work for UPC/Chorous/NTL as its diffrent Technology
    Needs to be the Cable/MMDS Receiver supplied by UPC.

    Any other box that can connect to UPC would be illegal anyway.

    You can't save money as they don't charge for the equipment.

    They only charge for subscription, also possibly install.
