Egan one win away from bronze??

    if Egan wins his next fight is he sure of bronze our if he were to loose in semi final would he have to fight the looser of other semi final to battle who takes home the bronze???

    just not sure what way it works

    If he wins his next fight he has a Bronze Medal at least. Both semi-finalists get a medal.

    Egan is actually the favourite from his side of the draw to make the final(where he'd be a heavy underdog).

    I wasn't impressed with the Brazilian at all today, I reckon Egan should be able to do it. Jeffries hasn't impressed me either and if he was to get by the Hungarian I think Egan would be able to pick him off aswell.

    It's there for Kenny now, all he has to do is grab his chance.

    No it wouldn't, he's the best boxer on his side of the draw so that would be kind of crap.

    I didn't mean crap as in that would take a terrible performance from Kenny.
    More it would be crap for us(and him) in the sense it would be terribly disappointing considering how far he has gotten already and the draw he has.

    Before this all started I would have gladly taken a Bronze for Kenny, but you look at that draw and you have to say if he doesn't get Silver it will be a disappointment because not only is he more than capable of it but talent wise compared to the other 4 on his side of the draw he should do it.
    But of course should doesn't always mean will and upsets do happen regularly enough.

    I agree with all that (and if you look at the main thread I predicted silver when the draw was made) BUT even if its only a bronze, its still something to be proud of and I wouldn't like to see him criticised for it.
