    Hi guy,
A cousin of mine is just finished the leaving cert and she wants to get into some kind of office work, not sure what exactly. She asked me about doing courses which would stand to her in interviews. She's not going to college so she wants something under her belt. I mentioned the ECDL which maybe is pointless and then I was thinking there are Microsoft exams you can take.

I have no idea otherwise, this is not in my field. Would ye have any recommendations for her?

    Thanks a lot
    P

well if she's not looking to get into the techie side of things maybe something like a mose (microsoft office specialist) certification ? it would be a hell of a lot better than the ecdl. Would look very good on a CV in my mind. + they can be done in your own time at home and you just go do the exam when ready.

She could also take a look at some of the vec courses if college isnt her thing / didnt get points etc ( do they still do these???) some can be done at night too so she could work also.

Aye ECDL is a complete waste of time. Its literally only for retards who have never used a pc before.
