BB cuts off have to lift handset to make phone work again

Hi I have an issue where if my Net1 BB goes down the phone connected to a Netgear router does not reset itself. I have to lift the receiver and replace it again to get calls in and out. Hi I have an issue where if my Net1 BB goes down the phone connected to a Netgear router does not reset itself. I have to lift the receiver and replace it again to get calls in and out. I have a Blueface account . Just wondering if there is anything I can do to avoid having to do this all the time. The phone connected is a Panasonic phone/fax machine. Do I need a soley VOIP phone??
