Hey there, where could I get some leather pants to wear in a shop in Dublin?
I don't mean biker trousers but something like Jim Morrison has worn.

I just think they're cool and want to give them a shot.

    Thanks :)

I think the few shops that used to sell them have stopped or no longer exist - may be due to them not been as popular as they used to. The Eager Beaver in Temple Bar (just up from Bad Ass Cafe) usually has 2nd hand pairs (often for good price) I got a really rocking pair there for about 35 euro a few years back. A great shop that used to do them new was Mr Gear just around corner from Clerys but they are gone now. You could try the Sheepskin shop in Ilac Centre but not sure if they do leather jackets only.

I'm a firm believer that leather trousers should only be seen on a lady, they just don't suit guys. The SheepSkin shop only do ladies leather trousers. As the other poster mentioned the best place to get them would have been Mr. Gear but that's not an option anymore.

Personally I could never see myself wearing leather trousers other than *possibly* for a fancy dress or themed night out. And even then only if I'd lost a bet and agreed to this forfeit in a drunken stupor.

Anyway.... If you really want a pair, I'd check out charity shops and I'm sure you'd get a second hand pair. Maybe even ring around a few of the places, save yourself travelling into for nothing. Failing that, e-bay is your friend.

Excuse me? I'm joking you mean? I don't think so, I'm serious and I don't appreciate being flamed.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
Might try the Eager Beaver and see what I can find.

And each to their own, I happen to like the look of some leather trousers.

Please, please don't buy a pair. Had a male friend who wore them all the time and it wasn't a good look. Plus he never seemed to wash them and they smelled.
It's one of those things you will look back on and shudder if you do.

They might have some in the Harlequin near Georges st arcade. It's a vintage 2nd hand clothes shop.

best place to get them is on ebay uk.I bought a few myself for as little as a few euros each under a search for ladies leather trousers /or jeans, The leather jeans are probably the best to start with as they can pass off better as a unisex look as opposed to the trousers which are more feminine. From experience a lot of women love to see them on a man.
