This is due out in October.

Synopsis: A CIA operative (DiCaprio) is sent to Jordan to track a high-ranking terrorist. The spy is aided by the head of Jordan's covert operations (Crowe) in an uneasy alliance that leads to cultural and moral clashes between the men.

What does everyone think? I hate the title and the trailer looks like crap but Monahan is a good writer. This might just be a case of bad marketing which Scott's films often suffer from but that's probably wishful thinking.

I wish Scott chose his projects more carefully. He's 71—there can't be that long left in him. Hopefully he'll drop that stupid Nottingham film and go straight into Blood Meridian or Brave New World.

I think it's time Crowe and Scott stopped jerking each other off....

Saw the trailer not long ago, looks ok. If DiCaprio is in it then there's always hope.

The trailer looks like a mess tbh, but I would certainly put it down to bad marketing on the studio's behalf. Take a look at what a mess they made of Kingdom of Heaven, if you compare the theatrical to the directors cut, it's like two different films. Ridley Scott is an absolutely terrific director, and Monahan is a definitely a good writer, so I'm sure we'll have a good film here.
