    Have been offered a Baikal over and under never used in mint condidition.
    seller does not know what to ask.
    As he is a relation i would like to be fair.
    Can someone please advise what would be a fair price.

    350 to 450 maybe depends on how close your family is:D

    bakil are made in eastern europe[chek republic,under licence from old u.s.s.r.] a good solid reliable gun but a bit on the heavy side.is the gun fixed choke or multi choke.the gun IS second hand and must have been fired at some stage.sugest 200 euro for fixed,and 250 euro for multi-choke.

    I think they retail about 699 new. Check Duffy's on the net - www.shoot.ie.

    If its that mint take 250 of their asking price, but don't be too hopeful of a sale, Cheaper guns will depreciate quicker.

    If your relation has a receipt for what he paid for the gun, then knock off a few quid so that both of you are happy. You should be happy that you have got the gun (secondhand) at a resonable price, and he should be happy that he has managed to sell the gun firstly, and also that he hasn't lost too much on the sale.
