Has anyone ever had any experience with this festival, and if so is it worth the trek down?

    was there this year.

thought it was savage, lineup wasn't great but we made our own fun. beside the beach so you can kinda make a holiday out of it and still catch a music festival.

main stage bands can be a bit sh8t but if your into electronic music you might find it a bit more attractive.

    the camp-site is hellish.

very very very hot and the crickets make it impossible to sleep .

with the festival running from late to early the best thing to do is just to head to the beach and crash out.

lots of drugs also if thats your thing. prob go back agian next year but dont think we will camp , prob get an apartment or hotel

Best week of my life! Had an absolute ball. Everyone was so easygoing, no "scumbags". Camped beside a mixture of Irish and British and the craic was mighty. Met loads of people from all over the world, saw some fantastic bands, vomited in my own tent! We ate and drank well everyday for pittence.
I brought decent ear plugs so the crickets were no bother for me,the spiders freaked me out for a day or so but you get over it quickly!
As for the heat, I'm VERY Irish so I was covered in sun cream, light shirts, hats all the time. The ice cold showers were also a nice way to cool down. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a decent festival experience. Don't moan if ya can't hack it, get on with the fun.

I'm planning to go to this. When should you show up to the campsite? Is it worth camping for the week beforehand? Sounds great and should make a change from the wet festivals here
