Olympus µ700 - can't transfer photos

    Hi,

    I can't seem to transfer photos from an Olympus µ700 to my pc.

    It seems the memory card (Fuji Film XD-Picture card 2Gb) is somewhat corrupt. I can view the pictures via the camera and digital picture frame fine but when i connect it to my pc it doesn't show up as a drive in windows explorer like it used to.

    Any idea how i can salvage these photos?

    Try using a USB card reader instead of connecting the camera directly...

    Another plan might be to try reinstalling the drivers that came with your camera - you probably got a CD with the camera.

    If you've lost the CD, take a look at this page to see if you can find the driver.
