Adobe flash player is blue screening my computer

    i have a issue with adobe flash player. when looking at youtube it will blue screen after about 5 mins. i have just recently reinstalled windows xp sp3 with all microsoft updates with the latest drivers for all my hardware. i also noticied when installing the game company of hereos if any of you are familiar it plays a video file during instalation, this must be flash aswell because it blue screens after a few minutes i have already tried reinstalling adobe flash player. but this did not solve the problem.




    has anyone had problems with adobe flash player before.

    i have tried googling but cant find anything usefull.

    im thinking about reloading windows again

    computers specs:
    os :windows xp sp 3
    motherboard : Asus p5w dh deluxe
    graphics card : 8800gts 640mb
    cpu : intel e6600
    sound : realtec onboard sound
    ram : 4gb corsair pc2 6400

    .......did you reinstall XP to resolve an error? What is the BSOD error code?

    Is it the movie at the start of the game or the images shown during installation?

    Either way neither is linked to flash, this is more likely a larger instability problem to your system in general.

    When was the last time you updated your nvidia drivers on your card?

    I think i m going to reinstall windows and see if that resolves the problem. thanks for your help

    From what I remember COH does not show any flash animations during install, only still image slideshow like most installers do, check for faulty memory, check your hard drive, such a issiue could well be a hardware one

    What does the Blue Screen error code say though: it may be totally unrelated to the Operating System.

    i ma unable to catch the blue screen as it is so quick. but last nite i reinstalled windows and set all my settings in the bios manually and seemed to work after that. i think i solved the problem probally wrong ram timings or something.

    run the memory test to be sure. i think one is located in the control panel under administrative tools.
