There's a few options around, though with Phoenix opening their own place (in Spoutwell Lane) recently I reckon they're the pick of the bunch.

As far as I know, the Zarbat/Massan Ghorbani Kickboxing offshoot run by Pat has packed up (as I write this, I see my certificates gathering dust in the corner).

The Jiu Jitsu has also dissolved I believe, I've not visited it since we spent 20 mins training and 45 learning bowing and scraping. :D Perhaps the Ninjutsu posters I see around belong to their reincarnation, Buddha only knows.

Not yet tried out the Freestyle wrestling club which meets in St. Brigids, sounds intriguing though. Do a search a few weeks back on this forum, you'll find a thread about it.

Of course, there is the secret location at which I train, but the first rule is...well, you know. ;)

    Happy hunting anyhow.

yo yo yo :pac: u called???

yeah pats (kickboxing) club has gone used to be in the arts centre. I know of a few others that have now packed up and quit, maybe coz of us :p The grappling (also called pat - PM....VNP) is ur best bet for grappling round here, saturdays 630 st brigids. Or of course come and see us down in spoutwell lane anytime and have a chat about what you want to do.

No-Gi BJJ at St Brigits school. Tues nights 8:30-9:30 and Sat 6:30-8. Not sure what type of martial art you're looking for but come on down and give it a try.

The Bujinkan club in Mullingar is run by Joe Dunne. It has nothing to do with the Juijutsu club that was already there. Details are on www.bujinkan.ie

I have been looking at Krav Maga classes, is Genbukan Ninpo training anything like this?

Looking for a good cardio work out with some striking and self defence...
