What do you think so far? I have only seen the evening shows with Bill O'Herlihy in the chair but it seems to me that they are giving over far too much time to in studio discussion instead of just showing the action. Every time I turn on its the swimming correspondent with the Chris de Burg/Incredible Hulk eyebrows. I know they have a duty to focus on the sports where the irish are competing but wouldn't it be interesting to see more variety of sports.

Sad that Jim Sherwin isn't commentating this year - he was an institution covering the opening/closing ceremonies and the swimming.

On a lighter note I think they should devote much more airtime to the beach vollyball competition - lots of slow motion replays are required to capture the essence of the event :D Ireland needs a beach volleyball team for the Olympics for 2012. Who's up for it :p
