Just booked flights and a hotel to Fuerteventura in October. Anyone got any feedback on the place. Work colleague said everywhere closes at midnight. Not that I'm looking for a wild holiday but the odd late tipple would be enjoyable while chilling out?

I'm heading over in September. It is a quiet place, which is why I booked it.

There are a couple of late spots in Corralejo alright.

Take a look at www.tripadvisor.com for travel hints.

As above it is a quiet place but fantastic for relaxing and chilling out. I was at the Riu Oliva beach hotel which was on the nicest beach Ive ever been on. Ill have to go back at some stage.

Have to agree with your view on beach ! Fab spot just a 5 min taxi from town! Did you go into its sister hotel the Tres Palace ? I have stayed in both ! Tres Palce was simply superb ! Overall it is very quiet. ou get a lot of well off Germans in these 2 hotels and they all retire before midnight. Corralejo I'm sure carries on a bit later than that! Taxi is around 7 euro!

I've been to Correlejo a few times and love it. It is quieter than other resorts but it certainly doesn't close at 12am. Its more a place for bars than clubs, but if you want a club, I fell out of one at 5am a couple of times!! I just find it more relaxing more a couples place than groups of young people, but the action is there if you want it.

Enjoy. I'm off there on Tuesday
