Central Heating - Water noise

    Advice needed please..

    we've just replaced a radiator in the bathroom with a towl rail - same concept water goes in water comes out.

    Since the work was done however, whenever the central heating comes on I hear twenty minutes of water coming from the tank in the attic to the [other] tank in the bedroom. I don't recall hearing this previously - is it possible that the central heating system needs the level of water to be 'topped-up' as such? Not sure I'm making this too clear but I hope someone grasps what's happening.

    Many thanks in advance :confused::confused::confused:

    If you haven't cleared all the air from the system then the system will top it self up as the air clears or if the system is slow at refilling it maybe that even if you have bleed the towel rail it could take time to settle, long story short, bleed the rads just to confirm air is out then let it run for a week to settle down, Gary.

    Something similar happened to me, it took a couple of weeks of bleeding the rads before they settled down completely.
