I see Dell entering the netbook category with their new E4200. I wonder when we will see it here and at what price? I have been tempted by the Advent 4211 or the Acer Aspire One but I might wait now to see what the Dell is look. It seems it will have a 12.1" screen with a long batter life but still only weigh 1 kg...

Personally I think this will put it up to the likes of Asus, Acer et al...

This looks like a much more expensive version of a netbook -there are already 12" laptops available mostly for megabucks except for maybe the Advent "4044""(???) which is 599/699 in PC World.I think true netbooks will not have screens over 10"-although at under a kilo weight this thing is light for the size ....Magnesium body normally means EXPENSIVE...There is a 'proper' cheap Dell netbook released/'announced' in the USA this week...(linked nearby on this thread)

Ytareh is correct, this isn't one of the forthcoming Dell E-slim netbooks. By the looks of it this thing will cost about 2 grand.

Like said above the e4200 isn't part of the netbook range. It's meant to be going against the macbook air so expect it to be pricey.
