took the hounds out for their first mooch of the season. wasnt expecting to see much cos of the rain, anything with any sense would be at home. but they found and flushed a little fox out of a bog(always has a fox in it) and he ran straight into the back of the farmers yard, his mother taught him well. there is an old farm scrap dump there full of old pallets and steel etc..thats all over grown with nettles and bushes, hilton for fox. spent next 2 hrs in the rain trying to get my terrier out from under an old oil tanker. either he got stuck and the fox bolted or the fox was in to tight for him to go.
any way, got my terrier out. gave the fox best. headed home. round 1 to charlie...let the games begin.

Bit of topic but when out for a walk on Sunday I actually saw a fox heading for persumably his home with a bag of chips in his mouth. Found it hilarious myself. Cheeky chap looked at me for a couple of seconds and then toddled off.:)
