Yeah, I usually just put in the newest year as 1993 and then do a search, although there is alot of idiots that don't put the correct year in for cars (i.e. 1892 BMW E30 and a 1901 Seat Leon ).

Flippin eck ! Classic cars are over priced compared to UK equivilants. Still, nice selection !

    Too good to be true...

The ad is misleading in the it states the VRT is included. It is not. How the hell could it be? The sterling trade price of £9,950 does not include VRT (see the UK website)

And of course, the car is sold already :)

It's cheap because it's an automatic.

I mean seriously, why would anyone want an auto Ferrari?

Most 400/412s were autos I think I saw somewhere. It's a bit like why have a manual big Merc or Jag.

Maybe the question is was the 400/412 a real Ferrari?

    Hence the prices

    Disaster!!!!
Well guys I collected my new baby on Friday night drove it home... LOVED IT, seating position, atmosphere, power, sounds everythying was great...
Guy I bought it off told me to keep it garaged as the convertible top has small gaps to the window frames, nothing major.
Saturday, drove around roof down, sun shining, pure class. In the afternoon did a few tidy up jobs and then... Three hours of torrential rain, turns out the leak is coming from the top of the front screen. Of course I managed to get caught out on the road, drowned... Then as the water got in the relays got wet and the wipers stopped.
Sat on the side of the road, saturated, "blind" and totally broken hearted.
Have to say though, when the rain stopped and I got moving, I was smiling again, just sounds so fabulous.
Did manage to break the interior door handle in disgust, so if someone can tell me the best place to get a new one I'd really appreciate it. May need a few other bits too possibly headlight motors but probably relays.
Had a few issues when I first got the RR Shadow so I was expecting some troubles...
Just looking for some encouragement really..... Help

    Ouch!! :(

80 quid for a door handle!, Chances are is the same as one of a Fiat 127 or Ritmo or something like most 70's Ferraris fittings:p

The 400 is a 2+2 GT, which means it's meant to be somewhat more practical, rather than for throwing it around a track. So like, say, a 107 SL (:D) the auto 'box is perfect for the job. I did 650 miles around Kerry in four days in June, and I was damn glad of the auto!
Maybe the question is was the 400/412 a real Ferrari?
So the shape isn't to everyone's liking, but what the heck - it's a soft-top, V12 Ferrari for sub €15K. I say good luck to the guy that bought it, and if I see it out on the road I'll give a good old stare, and won't think "there goes a guy who couldn't afford a 308"!
