All gone Quiet

Anyone else notice how quiet this forum has been recently. Nintento better have something planned for Xmas because there is nothing in the pipeline for the Wii. Is there any decent 3rd party games coming? Is everyone wiating for Wii motion Plus before they release?

Yeah its a bad time for the Wii. Its the gamecube all over again. A handful of killer titles a year, and filler for the rest. Its not good at all.

The Homebrew channel has revitalised it for me, though.... (until the assholes in Nintendo block it)

On the flipside, its a great time to own a DS. Every month has 2 or 3 "must have" titles.

Its a woeful time to own a Wii...absolutely nothing on the shelves of interest and nothing in the pipeline of any worth either. And E3 was such a major let down...it's the first time in 20 years that I have considered actually selling a Nintendo console in its prime.

That was April, I'm still playing on-line but the DS has been getting most of my attention since then.

Looks to be original, fun and innovative, similar to Boom Blox, all the reasons I chose Wii over the Xbox and PS3.

Still Wii needs more than one or two titles like this from Third parties, it needs franchises and big announcments that keep coming. Is Wii Music really gonna be Nintendo's biggest mover this Christmas? What about those of us who aren't under 9 or over 45? what are we supposed to get excited about?

That looks like it definitely has potential.

The main bad guy in the trailer reminds me of this guy

Well I just got SSBB and it is one of the best games I've played. Adventure mode is much better than Melee because there is actually a storyline to it. Playing online is great but it is much more slower and jittery than Mario Kart.

nintendo are awful lately, wii and ds. its kinda upsetting the PSP is still alive simply because ninty are resting on their brain training and other muck laurels.

Platformer/puzzle combo, looks good although tere seems to be a proliferation of "old School" 2D platformers about/on the way at the moment.

I haven't bought a game since Brawl came out in the US, and haven't even bothered plugging my Wii in since I moved house back in May!
Nintendo have well and truly lost one of their most fanatical of fanbois...
In fact, if it weren't for Mario Galaxy and MP3, I would have sold my Wii a long time...

Wii good for kids and party's but for proper gaming ... eh no.
I reckon it has 4 games Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda and Super Smash Bro. So you have those now what now? E3 wasnt exactly the best advertisement for wii lets be fair. If thats anything to go by ye may give up like I did a few months ago and sell your wii.
Lastly I have to comment on Da Blob being the answer to shortage of quality games given as earlier comments in this thread. Come on now dont you think your clutching at straws. It looks **** to say the least. Embarrasing Nintendo get your act together.

agree, if I even heard there was another Zelda in the pipeline I'd be happy.

I certainly dont think Da Blob is a saviour, but nor do I think the Wii requires saving. Blob and games liek it are the reason I went with a wii innovation and originality re what excites me in games, I just want to see more of it and from nintendo themselves not third parties.

Was listening to an old podcast from E3, apparently Miamoto confirmed that Zelda and Mario teams had reformed and are working on new projects, with a new Zelda for Wii basically confirmed. That was something I missed the first time around, makes me feel a little bit better about the suckfest that was E3.

Don't expect anything until late 2009 though, 2010 more realistically.
