Yes, but you need a flash cart to load it:

Oh i thought you would have known about flash carts! I wont tell you where to get them but if you google r4 ds or m3 ds you will find info.

The link i gave you was just for the emulators

    Yep thats the one.

Remember discussion of flash cards is allowed as is using them for homebrew and emulators (as in playing nes games). Discussion on how to play backups or pirated games isn't.

In most cases you put the games on a micro sd, put the micro sd into the flash card and then put it into your DS slot 1.

In the case of NES games, you put a NES emulator onto the card along with the game. It's easy enough to do.

Okay....so you can get the game for the Gameboy. Will this format work on the Ds without emulaters and R64 cart??
The game works on all gameboy formats but it says nothing about the Ds. I thought they could be played on it??????

Old gameboy carts? Nope, they don't work on the DS.

Man, you really need to read up before you ask about emulation on a ds!!

Yes, it is possible to play gameboy games on a ds, but not the actual gameboy cartridge, it must be emulated. And the only way to play a gameboy emulator on a ds is with a flash cart (a modified ds cartridge). You have to load the emulator and the rom you want onto the flash cartridge.
