I went for an Interview for a role with a Semi State Company on Friday August 1st. I have heard nothing since from the company so I was wondering what was the normal length of time between people having a first round interview and then being called for a 2nd round interview.
It was a role I was interested but beginning to think I was unsuccessful as I have heard nothing from the company

Give them a call and ask.

It's hard to say what a delay can mean as there are so many possible reasons. However I would have expected to have heard something by now, so you won't come across as pushy as long as you just call and politely enquire as to the status of your application.

+1. In fact it shows some enthusiasm and interest in the position. Just make sure it is a polite inquiry. If they are evasive about the date don't try to press them on it.
