ripwave problem

    hi all my first post in this section, erm i have a problem a friends ripwave connection has basically vanished and i'm wondering how to set up another connection or how to find the WEP key for the existing one?

    RIPWAVE is not configurable by the end user, it is a service provided by IBB and uses the 3.5GHz band under licence, if the connection has dropped its probably because its oversubscribed (common problem) and system is overloaded. Wait a while and you can try again to see if it can connect.

    On the other hand you may have a WIFI router that you need configuring which is connected to the RIPWAVE box, if this is the situation then give us more details to help you.

    You seem to be under the impression that your friend is connecting to the Ripwave service over wifi. I can assure you taht he is not, however this is a common end user misconception.

    Call support so that they can explain things to you in more detail.
