I never played any musical instrument in my life. At the tender age of 44 I have taken up the sax. Playing it 3 months and already have about 6 tunes learned. It takes time to play it well. Breath control is all important. Its all about how determined you are to learn it. I only got two lessons so far. You can do a lot on your own but you do need to check in with an instructor to keep you going straight.
