I have searched on here for other similar threads relating to tight foreskin and phimosis, and it seems that most are locked by a moderator saying they cant give out medical advice.

Well anyway, im 21 and i have a tight foreskin which is more than likely phimosis, and i do not want to get circumcised, so was looking around the net for cures. The 3 cures were,

    1- Manual Stretching Exercises
    2- Preputial Plasty
    3- Circumcision

So was looking into manual stretching exercies as i to not want surgery on it (shudders at the thought!!), but am hesitant if they actually work, so thats why i started this thread, i want to know if anyone here has tried this method, and if it was successful?

I suggest talking to your dr and getting them to give you as much infomation including how to do such excerises carefully and properly.

More than likely a tiny strand of skin is still holding your foreskin to the glans, either ask your doc to snip it or expect it to pop during sex. If its the latter, don't panic, keep it clean and a week later you will wonder what the fuss was about. However, every cloud etc, whilst your foreskin is tight it can cause numbness delaying orgasm and turning you into a 90 minute stud.

I will eventually go to the doctor, but just want peoples opinions and suggestins on the matter first, i.e. people that have been or are still in the same predicament. I have found websites that detail what you need to do, but as with most things on the internet i never know if i can trust them?

Regarding the strand of skin, ive done a good bit of research and i dont think its that, it seems to be a problem with the preputial ring (the opening of the foreskin) being too tight, and not stretching wider than the glans.

And yes, orgasm during intercourse is almost impossible, which is really annoying, but has made a good few girls coming back for sex alot, but also has its drawbacks as i usually have to finish myself off. One girl that i was meetin for a while last year even started blaming herself thinking she wasnt doing stuff right (end result, me not getting head anymore cause she was too embarrassed!!) Speaking of bj's, most times they hurt more than being pleasurable, as the girl tries to pull the foreskin back as shes doing it.

I used to think (naively) that this was normal and all guys were like this until a polish girl commented on it there recently, hence me coming here as i dont want to ask my mates as ill probs just get a slagging.

I am now 22 but i have had this for as long as i can remember!

I too shuddered at the thought of Surgery and did not want it at all as i just didnt want to be a circumcised man,the skin there was grand and never bothered me but i did wonder what was up.

After searching and finding out what it was i went in search of "cures" which came in the form of Stretching techniques, steroidal creams and the last resort Circumcision!

Stretching techniques did not work one bit for me,not dry,not after a long bath, not after a period of time-Nothing!Sometimes its the actual ring of skin at the top of the foreskin which is just not elastic and will refuse to stretch.During sex it could possibly split or can just be painful enough to put you off and ruin the sex.Happened me on more than one occasion!

I decided to see a GP and see if i could get a prescription or a name for some steroidal cream,he pretty much laughed off the idea and sent me for a consultation to a urologist.
I discussed the steroidal cream with him and he said that it is not great in adults and results are found far and inbetween. He said they would use the cream more on infants and children.
I asked him could i try it and he said there would be no point and that i was free to get a second opinion from any other doctor or Urologist and they would tell me the same thing.

He told me to decide what i wanted to do and come back to him and sort it then.

I have decided to go for the OP and m probably gonna be waiting till Septemberish i have been told.Im totally fine with it and after reading threads on here about it I now am actually looking forward to it.

Sex with a condom on for me is grand for the most part but without can become awkward and sore sometimes and me feeling like ive left the GF down!
But also it gives less chances of infection and allows for that whole area to be kept cleaner.

Do a search of circumcision on this forum and you'll find loads of helpful threads and posts,i know i did!

    Hope this helped somewhat.

    I'll vouch for this.

If it is really bothering you, go see the doc.

Sounds almost identical to my own situation many years ago (sigh!!!) and it did seem like the foreskin opening was too tight, but it wasn't. As soon as that link of skin broke the foreskin was able to roll back with no problems.

I had the same condition - stretching and creams were useless, and I'll tell you this - if you try to fix this yourself without medical advice, you'll make it worse. I got a circ, best thing I ever did.

Go to your doctor to discuss this.
Taking medical advice from strangers on the net is never a good idea.

From what I gather if you have something like diabetes where scar tissue builds up, then circumcision is the only real answer. The part I don't understand is why the doctors don't recommend surgical options other than full circumcision. Even with Circumcision there are different styles as it where, so if you do end up getting one, make sure you know what type he'll do. I seem to remember there is a technique which retains the foreskin, but reduces the tension in the ring at the opening, if that's your problem.

Regardless of whether one is happy with getting a circumcision or not, it would sound a good plan to employ a doctor who at least has the knowledge of alternatives, rather than one who poo poos the alternatives. As for steroidal cream, I personally know a guy who was told he needed a circumcision. NO is buts or maybes and creams and stretching worked for him and worked well(hence me hearing about this stuff).

One size doesn't fit all, so keep looking at second opinions and alternatives from your doctors.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
