Dole Question

    I'm currently on the dole but as of this morning I'm technically employed. However, the job (and my salary) doesn't start untill Sept. 8th. Can I keep claiming the dole until I start work?

    If you begin working today you have to sign off as this can be seen as fraud. If your job is not starting until 8th September, you can claim until that date.

    hi all im in the same situation as above and start a job 29th of sept but been unemployed all summer and still waitin to get dole for those months. was wondering how it worked out for u since uv now started ur job. i.e did they pay u up until u started work and did they know that u had a job arranged??
